MAPEI Mapegum WPS is a ready-to-use waterproofing membrane for indoor walls and floors before installing ceramic tiles or natural stone. The grey, single-component paste is based on synthetic resins dispersed in water and forms a flexible barrier as it dries. It is suited to protected wet-area work in bathrooms, showers, kitchens and laundries.

Use: internal waterproofing beneath a suitable finished covering.
Application: brush, roller or trowel on a correctly prepared substrate.
Substrates: suitable cementitious surfaces and building boards, with primer and preparation selected for the surface.
Mapegum WPS is intended for areas that are free of rising damp and are not continuously immersed in water. Use the specified MAPEI detailing system at joints, junctions and penetrations to maintain membrane continuity. Drying and covering times depend on the substrate and site conditions; follow the current Australian technical data sheet for coat thickness, preparation and installation requirements.
