ARDEX WPM 155 Rapid Plus is a modified polyurethane hybrid membrane for waterproofing beneath tiles or screeds. It is designed for internal wet areas such as bathrooms and showers, and for suitable external applications including balconies, terraces and podiums. The flexible, microfibre-reinforced coating is applied by brush or roller over a correctly prepared and primed surface.
Pack size: 20kg pail, approximately 15 litres.
Membrane colour: light blue.
Application: a minimum of two coats, with junctions, cracks and penetrations detailed as specified by ARDEX.
Typical coverage: approximately 17.5m² per 15L pail at a total 0.5mm dry film thickness across two coats.
Actual coverage varies with the surface and application technique. The membrane must be completely dry at critical junctions before tiling or screeding. It is not intended for permanent immersion, swimming pools or spas, or as a permanently exposed, trafficable finish.
