SikaTite Undertile is a water-based synthetic-rubber membrane for waterproofing beneath tiles and other protected finishes. Supplied in a 15L pail, the single-component material is applied by brush or roller and forms a flexible layer over suitable, properly prepared building surfaces.

Suitable surfaces: concrete, render, screeds, wet-area wall sheets, fibre-cement sheets and other substrates approved by Sika.
The original SikaTite Undertile formulation requires a minimum of two coats and appropriate treatment at wall-to-floor junctions, corners and penetrations. Primer selection depends on substrate porosity and condition. Do not apply it over substrates affected by rising damp.
Use the Sika technical data sheet for this exact product to confirm preparation, film thickness and drying before covering. Site temperature, humidity and applied thickness can affect curing; allow the specified drying period before the finished tile system is installed.
