Enviro 500 EXT Green 15L is a single-component, water-based modified polyurethane membrane for external waterproofing beneath tiles or an appropriate protective coating. Its flexible formulation provides crack bridging, vertical hold and controlled drying for work in hot or windy conditions.
Where to use it
Designed for external wet areas, balconies, podiums, terraces, decks and roof areas over suitable prepared substrates. Provide drainage falls and complete the system with the protective finish specified for the application. Supplied as a 15L pail of green membrane.
Coverage and application
Apply by brush or roller in at least two coats, at right angles to each other. The product data sheet specifies 1.5L/m² total consumption and a minimum 1mm finished dry film, giving approximately 10m² per 15L pail. Weather and substrate condition affect coverage.
Prepare and prime the surface and detail corners, penetrations and joints using compatible Envirosystems products.
Recoat and finish
At 23°C and 50% relative humidity, allow a minimum 4–6 hours before recoating. Allow at least 24 hours before tiling, and ensure the membrane is sufficiently dry. Full cure is 7 days.
Use the current product data sheet for the complete application and coating requirements. The membrane is not a UV-stable finish on its own.
