Bostik Dampfix WPM Under Tile Blue 15L is a one-part, water-based polyurethane membrane for waterproofing beneath tiles and other protective finishes. The fibre-reinforced formulation creates an elastic barrier and requires no mixing or dilution.
Suitable applications
Designed for internal showers, bathrooms, kitchens, laundries and toilets, plus covered external balconies, rooftops and podium areas. Suitable substrates include prepared concrete, cement-rendered masonry, fibre cement, water-resistant plasterboard and approved structural plywood. Surfaces must provide positive falls to drainage.
Coverage and application
- 15L pail containing blue membrane.
- Apply a minimum of two coats by brush, roller or trowel.
- Allow approximately 9–9.5m² coverage per pail for the complete two-coat system, depending on the substrate.
- Each coat requires 0.8mm wet film thickness, achieving at least 1mm total dry film after two coats.
Prime porous surfaces with Bostik Multiprime and relevant non-porous surfaces with Bostik N40, following their instructions. At 23°C and 50% relative humidity, each coat typically dries in 1–2 hours; allow 24 hours after the final coat before tiling. Cold, damp conditions increase drying time.
